Hotel Villa Costa di Ciuffo Barbara & C Snc

Stayed here on our way to UK after travelling on a ship from Sicily to Genoa. Only 30 mins away from the port and right next to beach/coast. Very comfortable, clean and tidy room and friendly, accomodating staff. Would highly recommend! Only thing missing was a kettle as we would have enjoyed a tea or coffee on arrival and when waking up in the room.

Customer service We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights. The staff are amazing in this hotel. We only got premium customer service. Everything is well-organized, the hotel is always clean, and when we needed an electric fan close to midnight, we got it right away. Parking space is also spacious. We had a room with an ocean view so it was perfect. They also had a sundeck so that's where we hang out at night. The hotel has a bar so you can get drinks. Hotel location The hotel is well-located. It is close to various 'bagni', restaurants, bars, and shops. We had a relaxing stay in Celle Ligure because everything is accessible from the hotel. Hotel restaurant The hotel has a restaurant which is situated around 300 meters from the hotel. We were there almost every night and the food is amazing and the prices are reasonable! The staff were also very nice. We tried other restaurants but we find that we get more value for our money in the hotel's restaurant. Their seafood dishes and desserts are a must!

The owner runs this hotel with an iron fist. As a guest I often felt in the way of his “efficiency” and could never relax. The walls are paper thin so you can hear noisy neighbours and/or their dogs. The wi-fi signal was intermittent and the chambermaids rather unpredictable. I found them once cleaning my room before 10 am as I returned from breakfast and another time, later in the day, they left my room unlocked after cleaning it! Luckily I had personally locked away all my valuables before going out. The hotel is clearly trying to promote its restaurant, but instead of serving breakfast to guests between 8-9:30 am the waiting staff is busy preparing tables for lunch which does not start until 12:30 pm! The quality and quantity of the food served is average and far too expensive at Eur 18 excluding drinks.
